Drink it now or cellar for up to 25 years. It is recommended to decant it for an hour. Run since 1972 by Aldo Vaira, supported by his wife Milena, the G.D. Vajra is a company characterized by the excellent quality of the wines and the great love for the vines. The company vinifies its wines made from the typical Piedmontese grapes sourced from its vineyards distributed over about 40 hectares and located at an altitude between 350 and 480 m. above sea level. Barolo Albe is produced with Nebbiolo grapes from the three vineyards Coste di Vergne, Fossati, and La Volta, located in the hamlet of Vergne, in the highest altitude part of the municipality of Barolo. Here the plants enjoy a sunny climate during the day which favors full ripening, and a marked sudden change in temperature at night which guarantees the development of an excellent acid vein.
