Volume 2 of the method 'Die fröhliche Querflöte' is complemented by tune book No. 2 which contains many easy pieces for flute and piano as well as further flute duos for joint music-making. The repertoire ranges from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras (e.g. works by Devienne, Handel, Bach, Beethoven, Weber or Grechaninov) to folk and pop music, offering a varied mixture. The accompanying piano part is set in an easy style so that it can be easily played by pupils or parents.
